About this book
The first goal of Steps Toward Ministry is to provide a format for training and equipping Christians. There are nine lessons for effective personal ministry and three for small group leadership. These twelve modular lessons are short, simple and follow a standard format.
The apprentice begins by completing the Self-Evaluation. This helps them assess their level of competence and confidence in the twelve ministry skills. Then, using the Progress Checklist, they determine in what order they wish to complete the ministry skill lessons.
The second goal is to create an equipper, not just Christian worker. Ultimately, we want the apprentice to be empowered and encouraged to become the equipper of someone else.
Will you join us in this vision of mobilizing equippers? It starts with you inviting someone into a one-to-one equipping relationship. You can help change the world for the better, one person at a time.
